Full Time, Part Time and Volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians

East Pennsboro Ambulance Service, Inc. is always looking for talented full time, part time and volunteer staff who show an interest in serving the public. Our emergency services are staffed 24 hours a day with Dept. of Health certified Emergency Medical Technicians. Our emergency crews are responsible to provide emergency/non-emergency basic life support care to the residents of East Pennsboro Township and surrounding communities.

Applications/Resumes for employment for Emergency Medical Technician positions should be accompanied with the following current certificates/documents:

      • Pennsylvania State Certified Emergency Medical Technician-Basic
      • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
      • Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
      • PA State Driver's License

Non-Emergency Transportation Staff

East Pennsboro Ambulance Service, Inc. looks for compassionate motivated staff to provide non-emergent wheelchair/stretcher transportation services for our customers. Examples for non-emergency transport include:

    • Transportation of patients from their residence to a Physician's Office.
    • Transportation of patients from extended care facilities to Physician's Offices.
    • Transportation of patients being discharged from a hospital to another facility or residence.

Perspective employees must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of either a high school diploma or a GED as evidence of completion of a high school education.
  • Current PA State Driver's License.
  • Criminal history check indicating no records of conviction.
  • Drug/Alcohol Screening indicating no illegal drug activity/use.
